“brut nature” or “zero dosage” means that no sugar has been added at the final stage of sparkling wine production, so you usually end up with a bone dry wine – which seems even more so due to the wine’s high acidity. And that’s what we have here – a super crisp and refreshing sparkling wine made from Tempranillo. Definitely something different.
On the nose, this is a little reminiscent of musk sticks, but the palate is pure strawberry and the acidity drives an oyster shell like finish.
As always with sparkling wines, serve well-chilled with some savoury canapés and you will be a happy camper. Cheers!
