Tar & Roses Sangiovese 2021

Dark fruit and sour cherry with some fine tannins and crunchy acidity. Sangiovese is almost the quintessential food wine and this example from Central Victoria ticks all those boxes. With its mouthwatering fruit and the dried herbs on the finish, this cries out for a bowl of pasta alla puttanesca or a slice of your favourite pizza.
