Abelé 1757 Brut NV Champagne

Our new favourite Champagne here at Wine Academy! Loads of bread, pastry and biscuit on the nose, the palate is bright with lemon curd, baked apple and a touch of spice, alongside those all important bready flavours. A blend of the three main grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier), with at least three years aging prior to disgorgement, this is a very classy Champagne without the price tag of some better known labels.

While this Champagne is at a compelling price point, bonus wine trivia is that Abelé was one of four Champagnes served on board the Titanic.
