Cloud Cuckoo Land Fiano Greco di Tufo Zibibbo 2021

OK – this wine has us written all over it. Quirky grape varieties, an up & coming region and a crazy name … tick, tick, tick. Like Fiano, Greco di Tufo hails from Campania in southern Italy, so it’s no surprise that it’s well-suited to our mediterranean climate. Zibibbo is the Sicilian synonym for Muscat of Alexandria (sounds a lot better than ‘Muscat’ or even ‘Moscato’ don’t you think?).

This wine has palate weight and texture, alongside quince and ripe pear from Fiano, minerality from the Greco di Tufo and a touch of almond blossom from the Zibibbo. And while it’s all quite a mouthful, we think it’s absolutely delicious.

Drink chilled, on a warm afternoon.
